Food and Cooking

If you know Barry, you know that he cooked a lot and loved food. His kids were amazed that he could look into the pantry and fridge and whip something up without a recipe. 

In 2020, Barry created a presentation for his high school reunion about growing his own shiitake mushrooms. Here is that presentation.

Barry and his long time friend, Lee innoculated logs with shitake mushroom spores in 2018. Barry and Wendy harvested the mushrooms regularly since then. He would dehydrate the mushrooms to keep them in storage longer.
